Founded in 2014, Beijing Internet Based Engineering Co., Ltd. (IBE) is a professional CAE company dedicated to Democratizing CAE.
IBE adheres to original innovation and focuses on the core technology of CAE. Based on independent kernels, it has developed Simdroid, a general multiphysics simulation PaaS, offering simulation solutions for various industries including electronics, energy, petrochemical, aerospace, automotive, and marine.
IBE empowers value creation within the CAE industry. Based on Simdroid, it has developed several specialized simulation modules such as electronic cooling, LNG tank design, and crystal growth, which have achieved widespread adoption in their respective fields.
IBE also fosters an inclusive ecosystem. By proposing the "Simulation PaaS + Simulation Apps" model, it has established Simapps, a cloud-based simulation app store that enables cloud-native deployment and online usage of simulation apps. This model significantly lowers the threshold for the use of simulation technology, provides low-cost, high-precision, dedicated cloud-based simulation tools for small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises.
IBE owns a team of over 500 scientists and engineers, gathering excellent R&D and management talents in the simulation industry, with 75% holding master's degrees or above. In addition, it has established a postdoctoral workstation. Several team members have been recognized as national talents and received special government allowances, and five academicians have been recruited as expert advisors.
In 2018, IBE participated in establishing the National Innovation Institute of Digital Design and Manufacturing. In 2019, it has taken the lead in setting up the Beijing Center of National Innovation Institute of Digital Design and Manufacturing and Beijing Center/Beijing Digital Design and Manufacturing Industry Innovation Center. It gathers diverse forces to jointly build a thriving simulation ecosystem.
In 2022, IBE was recognized as a Global Gazelle Company by Hurun Research Institute.
