Based on its general multiphysics simulation PaaS platform, IBE is dedicated to creating an educational ecosystem for engineering simulation. Through various means such as the University-Industry Collaborative Education Program, innovative digital teaching materials and curriculums, Certification Program for Simulation Application Engineer, and simulation competition events, IBE empowers the teaching and scientific research work of colleges and universities, promotes the large-scale cultivation of CAE talents, and conveys high-quality simulation talents for the transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry.

In 2018, IBE participated in establishing the National Innovation Institute of Digital Design and Manufacturing. In 2019, IBE established the Beijing Center of National Innovation Institute of Digital Design and Manufacturing and Beijing Digital Design and Manufacturing Industry Innovation Center together with Tsinghua University, National Innovation Institute of Digital Design and Manufacturing, Beijing Relpow Technology Co., Ltd., Zhongguancun Dongsheng Technology Park, and other units under strong support from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, and Haidian District Government of Beijing, building an industrial software ecosystem.

In collaboration with local government, higher education institutions, industrial parks, industry associations, and leading enterprises, the Beijing Center is committed to establishing regional/industry-specific digital simulation platforms. These platforms aim to nurture digital simulation talents and provide simulation technology services to manufacturing enterprises in the region/industry, facilitating the digital transformation and upgrading of these enterprises.

• Key technology breakthroughs: Collaborating with experts and partners, we are developing simulation software to create a thriving ecosystem of simulation applications.
• Industrial software promotion: In collaboration with local governments and leading enterprises, we are constructing digital design platforms tailored for specific regions and industries, aiming to facilitate the widespread application of simulation technology for the benefit of all.
• Simulation engineer training: The "Emerging Engineering" talents will be trained in collaboration with universities and research institutions to incubate innovative and entrepreneurial teams in the digital field.
